PRIVACY POLICY & DATA TRANSPARENCY NOTICE

1. DATA PRIVACY (RIDTPPA 2026): In accordance with Rhode Island law, I am committed to protecting your personal data. I am the "Controller" of your data and collect only information necessary to provide consulting services (e.g., contact and biographical info). I do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for targeted advertising. 

2. YOUR RIGHTS: You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. I will respond to all such verified requests within 45 days. To exercise these rights or appeal a decision regarding a request, please contact me at the email address below. 

3. DATA SHARING: I share necessary data only with trusted third-party service providers (Processors) to facilitate scheduling and secure payments. These Processors are contractually bound to utilize industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data. These providers include: 

  • Squarespace: Website hosting and analytics.

  • Calendly: Appointment scheduling and automated reminders.

  • Sekure Merchants: Secure, PCI-compliant payment processing.

  • Note: Credit card transactions may be subject to a surcharge to cover processing costs, as disclosed in our Consulting Agreement.

4. CONSENT & RETENTION: Explicit consent is obtained before processing sensitive personal or minor-related data. You may revoke this consent at any time in writing, and I will cease further processing of your data within 15 days. However, revocation is not retroactive; it does not affect the lawfulness of any processing or disclosures performed prior to the withdrawal of consent, nor can I retract information that has already been shared with third parties under your previous authorization or my legal obligations (e.g., mandatory reporting or court orders). Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services or meet professional record-keeping requirements.
